Even now, a few days later, I'm still shocked at what happened Tuesday morning near my building. Things have changed for me and everyone, but exactly how and to what degree I don't know. And I wasn't as close as I could have been to everything. I was about five blocks away only really scared for my life for about forty minutes throughout the entire event because I knew the area and knew how close I was to everything. So, once the final planes had been stopped and the World Trade Center had fallen, I knew I was OK and lucky.
Now we are going to have to deal with the grief and face our enemies, but I think we are fine. We can still go to the store and we can still go to the movies. So, I think we should take advantage of these things and live the rest of our lives because I think everyone can appreciate them just a little bit more.
